Jennifer Garner recently shared photos of herself crying while attending her daughter Violet's Class of 2024 pre-graduation sendoff ceremony. “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate. 🎓 (bless our hearts 🥺♥️🤣),” Garner wrote in the caption. In another video shared in the carousel of photos, Garner is seen crying on a plane as she said, "How are we going to make it? What are we going to do?,” as she lifted her glasses to wipe away tears. Garner's celebrity friends were quick to comment their words of encouragement and love for the actress. "Oh honey... I know. You have done a great job, mama! I will be here for support and lots of hugs," wrote Reese Witherspoon. “I’m sooooo with you ❤🩹,” commented Gwyneth Paltrow. "I literally can’t believe this," Busy Philipps added. Some of Garner's fans offered their words of encouragement too. "You know it really does get better," one follower wrote. "Seeing them adult is a really cool thing too. I can’t say I don’t miss a full house, but it’s fun to watch them navigate life in their own way." Garner shared three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, with ex-husband Ben Affleck.

In November 2023, Garner appeared on "Live with Kelly & Mark" where she spoke about how well Violet has handled attending college tours. "It is exciting," she said. "I can see the stress — even though the excitement and stress go hand in hand. But she's handling it like a champ and she's totally in charge. I'm not having to say, 'Are you doing this, are you doing this?' She's a self-starter. And I'm just proud of her no matter what."
Last year, Garner gained attention after an interview with "Today" where she spoke about her parenting style. "I just really enjoy my kids. I don’t know that I have some overarching philosophy. I just think they’re such cool people and I want to hear everything, and I want to be around."
