Mark Wahlberg, 53, shared a sweet and relatable Facebook post about being a "girl dad" while he visited his daughter, Ella, at college. The actor accompanied his daughter on a shopping trip while he visited her at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Wahlberg shared a photo of him patiently waiting in a chair next to racks of dresses while his daughter shopped at a boutique. "When you go visit your daughter at college and end up in Love Shack Fancy #family #girldad," Wahlberg wrote in the caption. In another photo shared, Wahlberg is seen smiling alongside his daughter while he visited her. He posted the photo to his Instagram where he captioned the post, "So proud of this young lady," adding emojis of red hearts, a smiley face surrounded by hearts and a smiley face blowing a kiss.
Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham also share daughter Grace, 14 and sons Michael, 18 and Brendan Joseph, 15. In a previous interview with "Today" Wahlberg opened up about some regrets he has about not attending college, something that he thought about while visiting Ella at college. "She’s just so happy there," he shared. "She’s really thriving." Wahlberg continued, "We just went to parents' weekend, you know with the sorority girls and the frat house. It was like, 'Oh my God.' I definitely felt like I never really had too many regrets about not going to college until I saw (this)." The actor shared that he got a taste of college life when he and Durham visited for parents' weekend where they attended a fraternity party. "They were having the most fun I've ever seen anybody have, ever! Even more than her coming to Vegas," Wahlberg recalled during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "I was at the frat house and, you know, a couple of spots in town." He added, "It was nuts. Parents' weekend was incredible."
