Paris Hilton is responding to haters after they left rude comments on her Instagram criticizing her 9-month-old baby, Phoenix, appearance in recent photos. The Simple Life alum shared sweet photos of her and Phoenix to her Instagram with the caption, "My precious angel baby Phoenix's first time in NYC." While there were nice comments left on Hilton's post, many haters left rude comments regarding Phoenix's appearance and his head size. “There are some sick people in this world,” said Hilton in response to the mean comments. “My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain.”

Hilton also responded to the haters in a longer message where she called the criticism "unacceptable" and opened up about how much it has hurt her. “Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else’s for that matter, is unacceptable,” she began. “This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. I’ve worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return.” She continued by speaking about being in the spotlight and being a mother at the same time. “If I don’t post my baby, people assume I’m not a great mother and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful I’m a proud working mom and my baby is perfectly healthy, adorable and angelic.” She added, “I’ve dreamt of being a mom for as long as I can remember. Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters. It’s hard to fathom that there are people in the world who would target such innocence. I hope that people can treat one another with more kindness and empathy.”
