Serena Williams shocked fans after she attended the 2023 Met Gala where she revealed she was pregnant with her second child with husband, Alexis Ohanian. Williams wore a black fitted Gucci dress showing off her baby bump while Ohanian opted for classic black and white tuxedo. While posing for photos, Ohanian made sure to put his hand on Williams baby bump to share the news. The retired tennis star confirmed the news on Instagram when she posted photos of her and Ohanian in their Met Gala fits, captioning the set of photos, "Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala." Ohanian also took to Instagram to confirm the news where he captioned his photo saying, "Mama (@serenawilliams) & Papa love this parenting-thing, so we're back at it and @olympiaohanian is gonna be the best Big Sister—she's been asking & praying for this for a minute."

This will be baby number two for Williams and Ohanian, who share daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., who was born in September 2017. Williams recently launched a YouTube channel where posted a teaser video about how they told Olympia about her pregnancy. "Olympia does not know right now that I am pregnant, so the big reveal will be at the Met, and then before we leave, I'll tell Olympia," said Williams in the clip. "The reason I haven't told her is because she can't keep a secret."
