Tennis superstar Serena Williams recently shared a sweet video of her and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, telling their 5-year-old daughter Olympia that she is going to be a big sister. Williams shared at the beginning of the video that Olympia had been worrying about her mother's weight, saying she thought Serena was getting fat. “Remember how you’ve been praying/planning for a little sister or brother?” Williams said to Olympia. “Well, we went to the doctor, and it turns out I’m not getting fat, but I have a baby in my belly.” Olympia replied in shock saying, “Are you kidding me?” William's husband and Olympia's father, Alexis, replied saying, “You’re gonna be a big sister!” Olympia jumped up and down saying, “Oh, my god! I’m so excited!”
The Olympic gold medalist revealed her pregnancy at the Met Gala on May 1st. Williams said in the video that she revealed the news to Olympia just before the fashion event. On her YouTube channel, Williams detailed how she would tell Olympia about her pregnancy before the Met Gala saying, "Olympia does not know right now that I am pregnant, so the big reveal will be at the Met, and then before we leave, I'll tell Olympia," said Williams in the clip. "The reason I haven't told her is because she can't keep a secret." Olympia, who was born September 1, 2017, was being carried by Williams when she won the Australian Open in 2017.
