According to the Children's Rights Foundation, nearly 2 million children around the world suffer abuse at home each year. The situation usually explodes when the child is 8 to 10 years old. About 80 percent of these children have serious psychological problems, and 15 percent develop very serious mental disorders.

When Nathanael Matanick produced this video, he took as his example the real story of Zoe, an 8-year-old girl that was taken from her family and after many foster families, was adopted with her little brother, also shown in the video.

This video is meant to raise awareness, and give hope to foster families and adoptive parents and children.
