As amazing as they are, ultrasounds can only tell you so much about your baby. Those unique little features you'll adoringly stare at remain a mystery while that baby grows in your body. But, thanks to genetics, we can calculate one of your baby's most enchanting features - the eye color.

Although most Caucasion babies are born with blue or slate-gray eyes, the color will change around six months. Most African-American, Hispanic or Asian babies are born with dark brown or black eyes that usually stay dark (but can lighten up).
