Shopping at the grocery store is no easy task for Esther Anderson, mother of two girls with another one on the way. So on a September day, she convinced her husband to go shopping with her.

However, when he disappeared with the cart and the girls, she eventually found him looking very suspicious. The photo she captured of this moment went viral, because can anyone with a husband NOT relate to this picture?

The caption reads: "I convinced Thad to go grocery shopping with me and he disappeared with the cart... guess where I found him looking very guilty #whyilovehim."

The photo shows her husband filling up bags of candy with two little girls excitedly eyeing the options.

Let dads parent in their own way

All are endearing stories highlighting the differences of how their husband parents differently than them. The beautiful part of having a dad in your child's life is that he doesn't parent the same way as you.

Social scientist James Q. Wilson found that having a dad in a child's life is a vital part of healthy development.

"Almost everyone-a few retrograde scholars excepted-agrees that children in mother-only homes suffer harmful consequences: the best studies show that these youngsters are more likely than those in [mother/father] families to be suspended from school, have emotional problems, become delinquent, suffer from abuse and take drugs," he said.

How your husband parents is likely going to be a lot different than how you parent, but embrace the positive differences and let him dad his way (even if that means bulk bins of candy). They are his kids too, after all.
