What happens if you put pizza in a waffle iron? What about cinnamon rolls or cake? There's no better day to find out that than Waffle Iron Day.

We'll walk you through three delicious waffle experiments (pizza, cake and cinnamon rolls), but don't let us stop you from waffling with other experiments: mac-and-cheese, hash browns, falafel, chocolate chip cookie dough. The sky's the limit. Or actually, the size of your waffle-maker.

Cake Waffles

1.Mix your cake mix, eggs and oil as directed on the box.

2.Spray your waffle iron with non-stick spray and place a scoop of the cake batter in your waffle iron.

3.Bake it until the iron light indicates it's ready.

4.Remove, plate and enjoy!

Pizza Waffles

1.Remove biscuit rolls from packaging. Each pizza will require two biscuits.

2.Place the biscuits on a plate and put desired amount of cheese and pepperonis on a biscuit.

3.Place the plain biscuit on top of the pepperoni and cheese and squeeze the edges to seal.

4.Place the mini pizza into the waffle iron and cook until lightly browned.

5.Serve with pizza sauce on top.

Cinnamon Rolls

1.Remove the cinnamon rolls from the tube and place one on each side of greased waffle iron.

2.Cook until lightly browned.

3.Serve with frosting to the side or drizzled on top.
