Taylor Swift fans recently had four nights of the Eras Tour in Paris, but one fan left online users outraged. Photos began circulating the internet which depicted a small baby on the floor of the pit section at Paris La Defense Arena. The baby appeared to be laying on articles of clothing with noise-reducing headphones on where a person, presumably the parent, is seen hovering over the infant. Many concert attendees posted images of the scene, where fans were outraged. One user posted the image with the caption, "Get ur baby off the floor and GO HOME." In the next post, the user added an image of what the pit section of the venue looked like from the same night. The image showed crowds of people where the baby was somewhere on the floor in the section.

The photo began being reposted on many Taylor Swift fan accounts, leaving most Swifties outraged. Olivia Levin, who runs the fan account, Swifties for Eternity, shared the image on her popular Instagram page where many of her followers were appalled by the image. "From what I’ve seen, mostly people were appalled by it," says Levin, 24, of Nashville, Tennessee, who says she decided to take her post down because the baby's face wasn't blurred out. "Sure, a few people in my comments and DMs said to me, 'You’re not a mother or parent and can’t understand what we do for our kids, it's my only opportunity to see a Taylor Swift concert.' Others said that they parent different in Europe, which was interesting," she said to USA Today. "But most completely disagreed. It brings up an important conversation about how young is too young to be at a show."
A communications officer at Paris La Defense Arena clarified the venues' standards. "Paris La Defense Arena general terms and conditions of sale stipulate that all minors (without any age limit) holding a ticket for a concert at Paris La Défense arena must be accompanied by an adult. Under 18 children remain under their legal guardian responsibility, it’s venue policy. For spectators with a young child in the floor, an alternative seating arrangement has been proposed but refused by ticket holders."
