Jodie Turner-Jackson has filed to end her marriage with Joshua Jackson after four years of marriage. It has been confirmed by various news outlets that the "Queen & Slim" actress, 37, filed for divorce from "Dawson's Creek" actor, 45, in Los Angeles. The pair tied the knot in late 2019 after dating for a few months before. They welcomed their daughter, Juno, in April 2020. Sources have confirmed that Turner-Smith has requested 50/50 shared custody of their daughter, according to her filing.

The pair first met in October 2018 at Usher's birthday party. Turner-Smith recounted the night they first met while appearing on "Late Night with Seth Myers" where she said she was immediately attracted to Jackson. "I saw him before he saw me and when I saw him, I was like, 'I want that,'" she said. "And then when he saw me, I just pretended like I didn't see him." The pair kept their relationship lowkey for the following months before they sparked marriage rumors in August 2019 when Turner-Smith and Jackson were seen at a Los Angeles courthouse, accompanied by Jackson's mother, seemingly picking up a marriage license. Two months later, the pair was confirmed to be married.

In September 2022, the pair spoke with Forbes about their love for each other. Jackson spoke with the outlet about his love for Jodie and how it has been watching her become a mother. "The joy it is to watch her be in the process and be becoming a mother and how honored I feel to get to be next to that — to witness it, to watch it grow, to hopefully nurture it in its growth," Jackson said. "I love how empowered my wife is inside of that fashion space — how much it is a source of joy and that bleeds into her home life, as well. I love watching my wife be able to be uplifted and celebrated and seeing how fed she is by that makes me a very, very happy man when I get to see that." Turner-Smith said, "When I met Josh and one of the biggest reasons why I married him, wanted him to be my husband, is because of how loved and supported I felt by him. I had never been with anyone who I thought was wanting to lift me up the way that I felt that he was lifting me up. That is one of my favorite things about him."
