When it comes to good beauty products it can be a little complicated to find those holy grail products and keep it under that $20 limit. Well I've tried practically every drugstore beauty product over the past year, and I figured out what top products you will want to invest in this upcoming year.
1. Neutrogena Makeup Wipes
Of all the products that I tried out, this one was the hidden treasure. Makeup has always been the worst to take off- it's a hassle and some makeup remover practically makes you feel like you're going blind. However, these wipes refresh your skin, remove all makeup and is so gentle you hardly believe it's a wipe. I always buy the two-pack.
2. Maybelline The Nudes Palette
This palette could easily be compared to any higher end palette, personally I think the pigments and colors are a similar dupe of the Urban Decay Naked palette. I used this product continually for months and could easily achieve 30 different makeup looks from the 12 shades.
3. Milani Luminoso Baked Blush
This coral powder is the stuff made of pixie dust. The color comes out strongly pigmented and I honestly believe this was a blush made to go with any makeup look. I could not explain how amazing this blush is; you just have to try it out for yourself! But be quick because I had to visit three Walgreens before I could find this product.
4. L'oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation
Of all the products listed, this one is my favorite. Believe me when I say this stuff makes your skin look absolutely flawless. The formula was designed to give you a matte long-lasting finish, so all you have to do is apply a thin layer and the product will speak for itself.
5. NYX Studio Finishing Powder
I use this product when I want my makeup look to blend and stay all day long. When you use this powder, you are making your makeup bulletproof. Comparing this product to another powder or setting spray just dulls in comparison. I have yet to find a beauty product as good as this one for the price.
6. Maybelline Pore Eraser
This is very similar to the Benefit Porefessional product except for the $30 difference. This is basically magic in a tube; the decadent formula goes on lightweight and only enhances your skin's features.
7. Sonia Kashuk Gel Eyeliner
Not many eyeliners normally grab your attention when you're strolling the aisles, but Sonia Kashuk is one that stands out against the rest and with good reason. This gel goes on smooth and effortlessly when combined with their feather brush. It also does a great job of enhancing your makeup to go from daytime chic to nighttime dramatic.
8. E.L.F Baked Highlighter
Highlighters are all the rage in the beauty community. This can be a tricky product to handle especially since most highlighters need to have a good formula to not make your face look washed out. E.L.F, however, has achieved the goal of developing a highlighter that practically glows in the dark without overwhelming your face in glitter. Plus, for that low price it really can't be beat. I suggest trying it in the color "Moon Pearl."
9. Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer
The great thing about this makeup stick is that no matter what it will keep your skin looking natural. I even prefer this product over higher end concealers because it does a good job of creating thin layers. The thicker the concealer is the more washed out it makes your skin tone look. However, the Maybelline stick aligns with your natural tone to just enhance your skin.
10. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
NYX has so many colors. The formula is unbeatable. It will last all day and may need reapplying just once. You will love it. Period.
Take it from a person who knows. I own and continue to buy all of these products. I could not even imagine my makeup stock without any of these products; they are that good! Just make sure you get to the store before they sell out, or even ordering through Amazon.com, because they sell out fast!
