1. Be physical

I'm talking about actually physically touching him. Give him a massage, hold his hand, rub his back. All these simple physical touches will make him stop and relax a bit as he tells you about his day, or while you make plans for the night.

2. Surprise him

Show up at his work for lunch, bring home tickets for tonight's game, make his favorite meal. Just do something that wasn't planned. He'll be sure to notice.

3. Learn about something he likes

Nothing will grab his attention more than asking how he feels about the own-goal Gonzalez made in the last World Cup qualifying soccer game, or whatever sport/activity/interest he has. Brush up on the current facts about his favorite topic and impress him with your knowledge.

4. Dress up

It doesn't matter how bad his day was, if he comes home to you looking at the top of your game, he will instantly be in a better mood.

5. Dress down

The second best thing to coming home to you dressed up is coming home to you wearing an oversized t-shirt and a pony tail - let him know evening plans consist of cuddling and catching up on your favorite shows.

6. Write a love letter

Take some time to actually write down how you feel about your man. Leave it somewhere surprising so he'll run across your sweet words when he's not expecting to.

7. You do the planning

Instead of leaving date night up to him, you do all the planning. Plan something he will love - not just something you want to do. You both will have a great time (because who doesn't love seeing their significant other happy?), plus his attention will be all yours.

8. Celebrate a random holiday

Is it talk like a pirate day? Or national pancake day? Pick a completely random holiday and go all out. Being silly and fun will definitely shake things up.

9. Do something cliché

Bake cookies, light candles and put on romantic music or send the kids to grandma's for the night .... just do something that is romantically cliché, especially if that's not really your style.

10 Linger

The next time you go in for a kiss, linger. Spend just a little bit more time than you usually do. It will grab his attention and leave him wanting more.
