3. Go on a walk

For Ashley and me, some of our best conversations have happened on long walks. It's a great way to get some exercise and build up our relationship at the same time. Find a good spot and go walking. Every step you take together will literally be moving you forward in your marriage.

In our digital era, handwritten notes have become a thing of the past, but they're still a powerful way to communicate your love. Take the time to write a note to your spouse and leave it someplace where they'll find it. When they open it up and read it, it will make their day.
