Kaley Cuoco recently opened up to Emmy magazine about her new baby girl, Matilda, and her boyfriend, Tom Pelphrey. The "Flight Attendant" actress revealed that having kids wasn't always on her radar, but once she met her boyfriend, that all changed. “As a young girl I dreamed of it, but I became involved in my career,” she explained. “Then when we met, it was instantaneous — ‘Oh my God, I want to have a kid with you.’” Cuoco continued by saying, “We both wanted it so badly, which was not what I thought my life would be. I love my career and wanted to just keep living my life. But Tom came along, and something changed.” The actress added that the pair knew they wanted to have kids soon, saying, “We’re not twenty, so we felt like we probably couldn’t wait too long. Then we got so blessed — it happened right away.”

The pair welcomed their daughter, Matilda, on March 30, 2023 calling her "the new light of our lives." Cuoco took to Instagram after her birth to introduce baby Matilda saying, “We are blessed beyond belief. @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.”

Cuoco and Pelphrey first met at an "Ozark" party in April 2022, where Cuoco said it was "love at first sight," saying, "It was like the angels started singing. I was like, 'Hallelujah!' It was very magical … it was perfect." They soon made their relationship Instagram official in May 2022, and just a few months later, in October 2022, the pair announced that they would be welcoming their first child together.
