Bacon and Sedgwick recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in September. The pair first met on the set of the PBS movie "Lemon Sky" in 1987 and were engaged by the end of the year. They share two children together: Travis, 34, and Sosie, 31. Bacon took to Instagram in celebration of their anniversary in September by sharing a throwback photo of the pair with the caption, "35 years feels like a heartbeat. #Anniversary." Sedgwick also shared a photo in honor of their 35th wedding anniversary by sharing a throwback Polaroid photo on Instagram writing, "It was 1987- on the set of 'Lemon Sky' - I met a man named Kevin. Happy 35 my love."
While working on the set of "Lemon Sky," Sedgwick revealed while appearing on Conan that Bacon would arrange and pay for cast dinners at his hotel in hopes that she would show up. When she didn't show, Bacon recommended that she get a massage at his hotel. Sedgwick explained that Bacon told her that the hotel's gym was next to the massage room and that they should grab dinner together if they wrapped up at the same time. "And I'm thinking, 'Yeah sure, that's not going to happen. I'm not going to tell him when my massage is,'" she recalled. Much to her surprise, Bacon was waiting for her at the gym when her appointment was finished. "Years later, he told me he had actually called downstairs and I was getting massaged, which is kind of creepy, but whatever," she joked.
