Kris Jenner recently got candid about her infidelity that occurred while she was married to Robert Kardashian, saying it was the "biggest mistake" of her life. In a new episode of "The Kardashians" on Hulu, Khloe Kardashian asked her mother about that time in her life. "What was your mindset when you cheated?" asked Khloe. "When you did that with my dad, and you had four kids and you had a family?" Jenner responded saying, "Being really young and dumb is something that plays into it because you don’t really understand the consequences of your actions." Khloe dug deeper asking, "But what was my dad not doing that made you want to look elsewhere?" Jenner confessed saying, "I don't know because he was such a great husband and such a great dad… I think that I fell into a situation where I thought that the grass was greener somewhere else, and I made a huge mistake. That’s my life’s biggest regret." Kris continued by saying, "I’m not proud of the way I behaved during that time… Everything happens for a reason. I really do live my life by thinking God has a plan and without that whole thing happening there never would’ve been Kendall and Kylie."
Jenner and Kardashian were married from July 1978 to March 1991. They had four children together: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Robert Kardashian Jr. The pair finalized their divorce in March 1991 and remained close friends until Kardashian's death from esophageal cancer in 2003. In April 1991, Kris married Caitlyn Jenner, but ultimately separated in October 2013. They share two daughters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
Robert Kardashian passed away less than eight weeks after he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He is famously known for being a part of O.J. Simpson's legal team, commonly referred to as the "dream team." Simpson was charged with murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in June 1994, but was acquitted from all charges. Many refer to it as the "trial of the century."
Kris Jenner is currently dating Corey Gamble, after making their relationship public in 2015, shortly after her divorce from Caitlyn Jenner. Jenner has previously gushed about her relationship with Gamble, telling WSJ Magazine that he is her support system. "He's the greatest guy, and he's just an amazing support system for me, and he really gives me a lot of strength and insight," she told the outlet. "He's a great sounding board. And he loves my kids and my mom, and they love him."
