Rumors have been swirling that "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are reportedly getting a divorce after 27-years of marriage. The rumors of their possible divorce have been in the headlines for months now, but on Monday, People shared an exclusive report that the pair was officially separated. People reported that a source close to the couple said, "Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family." Although on Monday night, Richards set the record straight on her Instagram page denying the divorce rumors.
"In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue," said Richards. "However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part." She continued, "Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it might be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative." Richards ended her post saying, "Thank you for the love and support," signing the letter, "Kyle & Mauricio."

The pair first met in 1994 at a nightclub and later that year got engaged. In January 1996, Richards and Umansky tied the knot. They share three daughters: Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Umansky recently appeared on the podcast, "Two T's In a Pod," where he addressed the divorce allegations, calling the rumors "dumb." He later told the podcast hosts that viewers can see him and Richards directly address the rumors on the upcoming season of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
