Selena Gomez and music and American record producer Benny Blanco are engaged!
Gomez took to Instagram to share in her excitement, displaying a large engagement ring on her finger with the caption, "Forever begins now." The star of "Only Murders in the Building" also shared images of herself admiring her new ring while sitting on a picnic blanket and in a selfie with a thrilled expression.
In the last photo of the series, Blanco, 36, is seen holding his new fiancée while they sit on the floor of a closet, with Gomez once again showing off her ring.
"Hey wait…" the music producer commented. "That's my wife."

On her Instagram story, Gomez included a video of herself on FaceTime with someone, her left hand shaking as she held it up to her phone. "Yes to this!" she exclaimed.
This announcement comes during a significant year for both of their careers. Earlier in the year, Blanco released a cookbook titled Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends, and Gomez recently received two Golden Globe nominations for her role in "Only Murders" and her recent performance in Netflix's "Emilia Pérez."
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have been romantically linked since December 2023, with Gomez posting a series of pictures from a New York trip, including one of her kissing her new partner. In a comment that was later removed, the Rare Beauty founder seemed to indicate they had been dating for six months already.
In a May interview with TIME, Gomez discussed the beginning of their romance, explaining that although she initially saw him only as a friend, her feelings changed to romantic ones after she attended a birthday party to meet his friend. "It just happens when you least expect it," Gomez remarked. However, she also pointed out that "he isn't my only source of happiness."
During the same month, Blanco gave some insights into their relationship on the Howard Stern Show. "She's the coolest, the nicest, the sweetest," Blanco told Stern. "She's truly just like my best friend."
When the topic of having children came up, Blanco said, "That's, like, my next goal. And when Stern predicted marriage, Blanco agreed: You and me both."
"I don't know a world where it could be better than this," he added.
In September, Gomez shared that she is unable to carry a pregnancy herself due to a lot of medical issues, but she plans to become a mom one day.
