Every man is different and has different preferences, especially when it comes to dating. Unfortunately, there is no single "right" way to attract a man. With so many different types of guys and preferences, it would be impossible to list all the physical attributes or flirty actions guaranteed to get you a date.

But, even with all those preferences, there is one thing that is essential to seducing your man - no matter who he is or what he's looking for. It all comes down to being your best self. Follow these guidelines and seduce your mister in no time:

Control your vibe

Putting off the right vibe is one of dating's greatest secrets, but it's way easier said than done.

As a woman (or just as a human being in general), you are constantly sending messages, whether you are aware of them or not. You're likely well aware of your verbal messages and mostly aware of what your body language is saying, but you probably don't even realize what vibe you're sending or what it's telling others. To get a man's attention, you need to be sending out the right kind of vibe.

Create a positive vibe

"If you want to be incredibly attractive to men (and women alike), then eliminate negativity in your life," wrote Eric Charles, the writer behind the Ask A Guy blog. "This doesn't mean you become some sort of grinning idiot trying to force yourself into happiness ... you'll find that recognizing all negativity as unattractive poison and letting it go is enough to massively improve your vibe."

There is something completely irresistible about people who only absorb and exude positivity, right? Try to be the positive person that people are naturally attracted to.

Get rid of negativity

The best way to get rid of all that negative thinking is to turn your thoughts outward. I have a friend who's a real heart-throb. I don't think I've met a single man who isn't smitten with her within a few minutes of meeting her.

Her secret?

She just exudes positivity. She devotes her life to loving others and being kind to everyone. Men just can't resist that positive glow she carries with her.

Stop complaining, gossiping and belittling

Putting people down doesn't make you look better, complaining isn't fun to listen to and gossiping hurts everyone involved.

Even if you aren't doing these things while you're actually trying to attract your man, any negativity you allow into your life affects your vibe. If you are creating a peaceful, positive energy, the men around you will sense that and won't be able to resist you.

Be YOUR most attractive self

There is no point obsessing about having a tall, thin body if you're naturally curvy. Or fussing about wanting long dark hair if your cute blonde hair just won't grow out passed your shoulders. Instead of obsessing about your shape, your hair or your freckles, embrace yourself! Let your unique personality shine and be confident about who you are.

Exercise because it's healthy and helps you feel good. Dress up on special occasions in what helps you feel most confident - don't wear anything or behave in any way that makes you uncomfortable or unhappy. Create a life you love and then don't worry about anything else.

If you are your most attractive self, the peace and positive energy that draws others in will show. Just work on creating a positive, irresistible vibe everyone is drawn to and you'll be able to catch the man of your dreams.
