“Vanderpump Rules” stars Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix  have broken up after nine years of dating. Sandoval allegedly cheated on Madix with fellow “Vanderump Rules” star Racquel Leviss. Numerous sources told “Page Six” that Sandoval and Leviss had an affair for months. One source said the pair hopes to be in a relationship. According to TMZ, Madix only recently discovered the alleged affair and broke up with Sandoval. She hasn’t commented on the split yet but deactivated her Instagram.

Tom recently broke his silence regarding the affair, writing on Instagram, “Hey, I fully understand and deserve your anger and disappointment towards me, but please leave Tom Schwartz, my friends and family out of this situation. This was a very personal thing.” He also expressed regret to employees of his new restaurant, Schwartz and Sandy’s, for how his decisions may have impacted the restaurant.

Sandoval said, “They did nothing wrong. I’m so sorry that my partners, Greg, Brett, Schwartz, and our employees, have to suffer for my actions. I will be taking a step back and taking a hiatus out of respect for my employees and partners. I need some time to address everything else. Sorry for everything.”

Shortly after Sandoval released his statement, one castmate, LaLa Kent, expressed her disappointment, saying that Sandoval apologized to everyone but Ariana. However, Sandoval did eventually post an apology to Madix on Instagram. After the news broke, Ariana was spotted with her friends at a Tove Lo concert in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Sandoval performed with his cover band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, at a venue in Anaheim.

Sandoval and Madix were a couple for nine years before splitting up. Tom has been part of the “Vanderpump Rules” cast since its premiere in 2013. However, Ariana joined the cast in the show’s second season after transferring from another Lisa Vanderpump restaurant, SUR. The couple confirmed their relationship at the “Vanderpump Rules” season two reunion in 2014 after Tom broke up with another castmate, Kristen Doute.

The couple’s ups and downs have been documented on the show since the start of their relationship. Most fans might remember the drama from season seven when Sandoval and Madix argued when Sandoval told his friends a story involving Madix and castmate LaLa Kent. According to Madix, Tom betrayed her trust by sharing the story without her permission, but the couple eventually made up.
